You can expect to bask in temperatures at around 18 degrees during the wintertime, but unfortunately, no snow appears in the region. There has been the odd occasion of very cold days bringing the light snowfall, but Hunter Valley never typically is flanked by a thick snowy winter. Regardless of this, it is still a great winter wonderland to visit, with the wine and gourmet food immensely enjoyable next to the fire. Perhaps the greatest time of year to visit Hunter Valley, with the springtime bringing a picturesque view of stunning flora and bright blue skies. The vineyards come to life after a cold winter, springing up almost overnight and filling the valley with lush greenery. Temperatures can soar to 27 degrees or more but typically average in the mid-20s.
